Trusted since 1997
The Family Medicine Clinic opened on October 13, 1997, at Aktobe State Medical Academy. It became the first medical institution in Aktobe to operate on the family physician model and laid the foundation for a new approach to primary healthcare aligned with modern international practice.
The establishment of the clinic made an important contribution to the development of the regional healthcare system and the reform of medical education. The clinic introduced an innovative model of care based on continuity, coordinated care, and an individualized approach.
Alongside providing medical services to the public, the clinic became the first clinical base for practical training of general practitioners. A training system based on international family medicine standards was established here for students and young professionals.
Today, the Family Medicine Clinic is not only a healthcare facility but also an important educational and clinical center for professional training. It continues its mission of demonstrating an effective model of primary healthcare focused on families and the community.
